Donate a Vehicle, Help Shelter Pets

Kitsap Humane Society gladly accepts gifts of vehicles for auction. Running vehicles that are safe for the road are auctioned through Stokes Auction in Port Orchard. It’s easy! See how below:

To donate a running or non-running vehicle:

• The vehicle must have a clear title.
• Download and fill out the Vehicle Donation Form. E-mail it to info@kitsap-humane.org or mail it to KHS.
  
• Upon receipt of your Vehicle Donation Form, KHS will follow up with you directly for next steps.
• After the auction, we will send you a donation receipt and a thank you letter stating how much the vehicle sold for. This will serve as your tax receipt per IRS guidelines.

Do you live outside of Kitsap County?

• You can still donate your vehicle to Kitsap Humane Society! We partner with Donate for Charity for the donation of non-running cars outside of Kitsap County. Just click here or call (866) 392-4483.

*In addition to vehicles, we accept items such as boats and jet skis (must be in running condition), snowmobiles, commercial vehicles, horse trailers, 5th-wheel trailers (must be in good condition, no leaks), tractor-trailers, and heavy-duty vans. Items other than automobiles are subject to prior approval, please contact KHS directly for more information.
