Meet Cookie (ID 70214)! She is as sweet as her name suggests! Cookie is a hound/whippet mix who is about a year old. This petite little mutt will look at you with her liquid brown eyes while the whole back half of her wags with enthusiasm. Cookie loves to go on adventures and really enjoys car rides and hikes, and she is good on a leash, although she can pull if she finds a scent she wants to follow. Cookie loves toys and will carry a plush squeaky toy around with her everywhere and keep herself entertained for hours! After a day of fun, Cookie will happily lie by your feet or curl up on the couch (with or without you), for belly rubs and butt scratches. Cookie gets excited around other animals and would prefer to be an only pet.  Cookie’s foster family report that she is housebroken and crate trained (night) and loves to learn tricks. She knows ‘sit’ and ‘touch’ and is currently learning to ‘shake’. Cookie’s ideal family will have a house (no apartments) with a fenced yard, have no kids under 10 and no dogs or cats.
