KHS will be hosting a trick or treat celebration for families and pets on Saturday Oct. 30th from 12 – 5 at the shelter. A Spooktacular time for all family members, even the furry ones!

Activities include:

• A pet costume contest, open to the public, from 12 – 1. Winner will be announced at 1pm.
• KHS microchip clinic will be taking place at the shelter training center from 1 – 3 ($20 Homeagain Microchips).
• Dog and Cat Adoption specials include orange, black and white dogs or combination there of are: dogs that meet this criteria are 1/2 the price and cats $30. Special promotion pets will have signs on their kennels stating “Are you my Mummy” and will display special adoption fees for Saturday only. 
• Pet photos
• Raffles, booths and trick or treats will be at various locations around the shelter.
