Pet of the Week – Bella
January 19, 2017
Hello, my name is Bella (Intake #61162) and I’m a super cute shepherd mix looking for a loving home. I’ve had quite the winter. I was found by a good Samaritan after being hit by a car. The KHS veterinary team has taken good care of me as I’ve recovered and now I’m ready to be adopted! I can be a bit shy in new situations with new people, so I’m looking for a quiet home with owners who won’t expect me to be the life of the party. Once I’m comfortable and adjusted, I’m very sweet and loving. I’m a gentle girl who needs a gentle family. I like to go on slow walks and I enjoy sitting by your side. Like many older dogs, I have arthritis in my hind end and will need ongoing joint supplements and possibly anti-inflammatory medication to keep me comfortable and healthy as I age. The adoption and vet team can talk to you about my joint care. My ideal home has no kids under 6 years old seeing as I can be a bit nervous. You can meet me and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.
