KHS Volunteers Donate Dog Leashes
October 10, 2010
From time to time Law Enforcement Officers find themselves needing a dog Leash to keep an animal safe while waiting for Pet Owners or Animal Rescue. Thanks to the donation of dog leashes funded by our Social Media Department most law enforcement vehicles in our county will have an accessible dog leash in their vehicle.
Kitsap County Sheriff Boyer got a chance to check out our new Animal Rescue Trailer while our Executive Director Sean Compton, Animal Rescue Officer Jorge Fuentes as well as Social Media Coordinator Volunteer Lucia Jones presented him with Dog Leashes for his deputies.
Throughout the week our volunteers visited a few Police Departments in Kitsap County to hand over much welcomed dog leashes.
Here is our wonderful Customer Service Representative/Volunteer Ann Marie Grove handing Dog Leashes to K9 Officer Dale Johnson and Officer Rusty of Bainbridge Police Department .
Assistant Chief Domingo Almirol welcomed us to Suquamish Tribal Police Department on behalf of our contact Sergeant Swift Sanchez.
Other Police Departments receiving donated leashes are, S’Klallam Tribe Port Gamble Police Department, Bremerton P.D. and Port Orchard.
Huge thanks to VCA Poulsbo Marina Vet Clinic for donating dog leashes directly to Officer N. Hoke of the Poulsbo Police Department on behalf of KHS, back in April.
Thank you to all Law Enforcement Officers for partnering with KHS Animal Rescue and Enforcement.
