November’s numbers are in!!! Last month 445 animals were adopted, including little Opie here who traveled all the way from Hawaii to find himself a loving home! Our Vet Services team spayed/neutered 386 pets and performed 20 “other” special surgeries for injured and wounded pets. Our Rescue Me program saved 105 at-risk animals, many through an impressive Holiday Airlift from CA that got us front page press coverage in the Seattle Times. And our little foster program that could served 187 pets in foster care. We also started our Pawsitive Prison foster program for cats and kittens at the Mission Creek Correctional Center for Women in Belfair, which was recognized in the media locally (King 5), nationally (USA Today) and internationally (BBC radio live)! And all this while grappling with no power multiple times thanks to the weather! Amazing!!!
