Kitsap Humane Society offers opportunities for court-ordered community service work under the following conditions:
No individuals with felony, theft, or assault convictions/pending charges are accepted.
Participants must:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Abide by all KHS policies and local, state, and federal laws while on KHS property
- Consent to a search of their person, belongings, and vehicle while on KHS property
- Pass a background check prior to beginning service
- Read and sign the following forms prior to arriving at KHS:

Walk-through viewing is available from noon to 5 pm every day except Tuesday. Adoptions close at 4 pm.
All adoptions are first-come, first-served. We are closed on major holidays.
