Privacy Policy

Kitsap Humane Society (KHS) values our donors and takes their privacy seriously.  We respect the privacy of personal and business information that we are privileged to acquire.  Our commitment to privacy includes how we obtain, use, protect, and share information.

KHS collects and uses personal information such as name, address, phone number, and e-mail address when an individual or business voluntarily provides it to us.  KHS does not share or sell donor information with other organizations.  Contributing individuals and businesses may be listed by name in publications such as the KHS Annual Report unless the donor has requested to remain anonymous.

Personal information may be entered into our database(s) so that we can mail you an acknowledgment letter, newsletter, receipts, and/or requests for donations. Anyone can ask to be removed from the KHS’s mailing list at any time by emailing info@kitsap-humane.org.

Kitsap Humane Society is a private, non-profit organization that relies on donations to fund its vital programs. Kitsap Humane Society is not associated with any government agency, nor is it affiliated with any national animal welfare organization.
