Teddy is such a good boy… but isn’t really fond of other boys.

He’s a shy little man who has made great progress while at the shelter, but has a history behind him that has made him kind of afraid of human men. He’s fine with male dogs, but mostly avoids any two-legged guys who come around – and sometimes lets them know he’s scared with a little growl. He loves, loves, loves the ladies in his life though, and has even warmed up to some of the male walkers and caregivers at Kitsap Humane Society.

So, we’re looking for a special home for Teddy – one that is predictable and calm, and one that is generally women-only. If you’re looking to have just one man in your life – short, fluffy, and lovable – Teddy might just be the guy for you.

Teddy’s ideal home environment:
-Quiet, welcoming and understanding
-Somewhere he can thrive as the only pet
