Good morning, friends!

It was a big week construction-wise at KHS. Giant. Huge.

Over at the Russ and Linda Young Veterinary Lifesaving Center, work is essentially done. Finished. Wow. Sure, there’s a few details to finish up and tests to be run, but the facility has been cleaned and everything is looking shiny and new. Veterinary Services has been given the go-ahead to move in starting August 29, and as you can see in the attached photos, the team is already putting together their game plan.

On the other end of the campus, it’s been pretty quiet the last few weeks, but all that changed on Monday. The rumbling of the trucks started up again and the first of the lumber was delivered for The Barn. And yesterday, more rumbling as a cement truck backed into place to start pouring cement for the landscape features and lamp posts. Next week, things are really going to start happening, as we anticipate the installation of The Barn rafters. Again, wow.
