It’s a sign of a new era for Kitsap Humane Society. It’s a sign of a new safety net for the community we serve. It’s a sign of big things to come. But mostly, it’s a big beautiful sign on the front of our new Russ and Linda Young Veterinary Lifesaving Center that signals that we’re very, very close to our grand opening! Yep, the lettering on the front of the building went up earlier this week and we couldn’t be more excited. But that’s not all. Usually, a “sinking feeling” is a negative, but this week, our sinking feeling is because sinks have been installed throughout the facility, as have fire alarms, a fair amount of equipment, and even light fixtures. Which means everything is lining up perfectly for our exclusive first look at the facility for special guests on September 18 and our official ribbon cutting on October 2.
