Another week, another giant leap in progress at the Russ & Linda Young Veterinary Lifesaving Center! Walking through the facility, you’ll meet with a flurry of activity as kennels and equipment are being installed, interior windows are placed, and the reception desk tile is set. And just yesterday, kickplates were installed on all the doors and the exterior soffit was painted.

On the other end of the campus, we’ve had a few days of reprieve from the rumbling, but expect things to fire up again come Monday, as landscaping will begin.

Through it all, the staff is working hard to find homes for a huge influx of dogs who have found their way to us over the past couple of weeks. To that end, we’re waiving adoption fees for adult dogs on July 14, 15 and 16. We’ll also be the guests of honor at an adoption event at West Hills Kia on Saturday, July 15 as a part of Haselwood Auto Group’s “Drive for a Cause” promotion. And there’s still openings for foursomes, twosomes, or singles at our Putting Fore! Pets Golf Tournament at White Horse Golf Course on July 28. Join in the fun!
