Pet of the Week — Sheba
February 21, 2022
Meet Sheba! This affectionate 9-year-old Karelian Bear Dog loves doing zoomies around the yard and is always stoked to see other friends on walks, whether they’re humans, dogs, or deer! Sheba’s previous foster has reported that she has wonderful house manners, and she’s been described as a lovely and relaxed guest in our staff office as well. Sheba is house-trained and does well when left alone. Sheba is friendly with everyone she meets and if you give treats and belly rubs, she’s bound to love you even more!
Sheba has chronic skin allergies and hypothyroidism that will require long-term to lifelong management, so she’s a fighter looking for an adopter who can continue to give her the loving care she needs! When you visit Sheba, our vet team will be happy to talk with you further about Sheba’s current treatment plan and how to help set her up for success!
If you are ready to open your heart and home to a special girl like Sheba, come in and meet her today!
You can meet Sheba and our other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open for walk-up appointments on a first-come, first-served basis.
