Introducing Kickin’ it with K9s! Kitsap Humane Society is inviting community members to take dogs on field trips to the park, to the beach, and other dog-friendly destinations in Kitsap – even sleepovers at your home! – to give them a break from the stress of shelter life.

All it requires to begin is a 20-minute orientation. Then you can be on your way with your shelter dog, some simple instructions, and a special doggie backpack filled with supplies! Daytime field trips can be scheduled seven days a week, except during shelter open hours, when dogs need to be in their kennels to meet potential adopters.
