Pet of the Week – Yeti
May 8, 2019
Meet Yeti (83020)! With a playful and adventurous personality, he is an active boy and loves all types of toys – especially squeaky toys, balls, or tug toys! Yeti will even toss his toys in the air and catch them if no one will play with him – it’s adorable! His favorite game in the whole world is fetch and he would love to spend hours running off his energy chasing tennis balls. Yeti is a super smart boy and already knows sit and shake! He would love his adopters to continue his training and teach him even more fun tricks. When Yeti is having fun, he always has his big ole tongue hanging out to the side with an adorable smile. Yeti has become a volunteer and staff favorite with his love of adventure and his fun and charming personality. Although Yeti is a sweet and fun boy, he is pretty strong and working on his leash skills. He would benefit from having a big fenced-in yard to have potty breaks in and to play in. Yeti’s ideal home (no apartments please) would not only have a fully fenced-in yard, but also have no cats or chickens because they are just too much fun to chase. Yeti can come on a little strong when meeting other dogs and gets SO excited. He would do best as the only pet in the home. Yeti, however, may still enjoy having play dates with dogs that can match his play style. Yeti would also do best in a home with kids over the age of 12 because of his size and strength – he doesn’t want to accidentally knock any young kiddos over when playing fetch! Yeti is a super smart and sweet boy who cannot wait to find his perfect home. You can meet Yeti and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.
