We have a beautiful friend to share with you this week! Meet Helena, a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix!

Helena arrived to KHS as a stray just Christmas, scared and shut down. Our Behavior team got right to work showing Helena how loving and wonderful human companionship can be, and boy, has she come a long way!

New people are still a bit scary to Helena, so she will probably need extra time to adjust in her new home. We know that with the right combination of patience, reassurance and the caring love of her new family, Helena with thrive. She has so much potential, but needs supportive encouragement. It helps that she is such a cutie pie!

-Children 12 and over
-No Apartments
