We’re excited to share that Sweetums was adopted, thank you to those that welcome KHS animals into your lives!

Our pal Sweetums has been looking for her family for quite some time. Is that with you?

Sweetums is a terrier mix full of love, excitement, and a clear sense of companionship. Joining KHS in December, she loves spending quality time with her people and making new dog friends! A social butterfly and very energetic, you wouldn’t believe that Sweetums is nearly 8 years old!

Sweetums has been spending the last few weeks in foster, and they have adored their time with her! Being in foster allows Sweetums to feel a sense of normalcy as a pup who was particularly stressed by the shelter environment. Her foster says, “She is a dear sweet girl- a bit of a bull in a China cabinet but she has a big heart to match. She’ll make a wonderful pet – just needs kindness and patience – and long walks!!!”

Sweetum’s ideal home environment:
-Kids 10 and older
