Pet of the Week – Odysseus
December 16, 2024
Have you seen a more adoring face? Odysseus is looking to meet his family, and boy is he ready for some love!
Odysseus joined the KHS family in September after a Good Samaritan found him wandering alone at the Poulsbo Waterfront. A joyous pup, he made his way to our halls and has quickly become a personality among staff and volunteers. Odysseus happily greats friends at his door, eager to make it known he wants attention! Zooming around his kennel in excitement, he is always excited for morning and afternoon walks, some relaxing 1-on-1 time, and especially DINNER!
Odysseus is estimated to be 3 years old and due to behaviors and some additional training needed, Ody needs to go to a home with no small animals. He is sensitive it medical handling, so our behavior staff has been working with him on gaining confidence will muzzled. Ody is also working on commands such as “leave it” and “drop it” to aid with resource guarding behaviors. Overall, Odysseus is a happy guy needing the love and attention a family can offer. He is truly a wonderful dog and we know the right family is out there waiting for him as eagerly as he is waiting for you.
Will you gift this sweet pup a home this holiday season?
Odysseus’ ideal home environment:
-No cats, chickens or other small animals
