People donate all kinds of things to Kitsap Humane Society. Food, toys, pet beds, even cars – but it’s not often that it’s a house. Especially not a house that’s filled with such a cool array of collectibles.

But that’s exactly what happened a couple of months ago when a community member with a shared love of animals bequeathed to us a Kingston home – with all its contents.

So, in partnership with local auctioneers Blue Nest Home (who are generously donating their services), and Kitsap Junk (who not only donated services, but also pitched in $500 for clear-out costs), we will be holding an online auction from August 16 to 26. On the Blue Nest Home website – beginning at noon on Wednesday – you’ll have the opportunity to bid on a wide range of items, from collectibles – like Beatles albums, signed sports memorabilia, baseball cards, comic books, and model cars and motorcycles – to artwork, furnishings, common household items, clothes, and even a jukebox.

Best of all, proceeds go to benefit Kitsap Humane Society and all the animals we love so much. Even if you don’t bid, you can still donate to make a difference in our community!
