Pet of the Week – Rolph
August 28, 2019
Meet Rolph (77902)! He is a kindhearted 3-year-old Pit Bull mix with the biggest smile and best personality! Who says lap dogs have to be small?! Rolph believes lap dogs come in all shapes and sizes and he cannot wait to cuddle his forever family. It’s hard to believe that he has been at our shelter for such a long time – thankfully, he hasn’t let that bring him down! He is quite the smarty pants and already knows “sit”, “lie down”, “shake,” AND is crate trained. Rolph is a huge fan of yummy treats, bones, and chew toys and is more than happy to spend his days chomping away at them while he is snuggling into his bed. This sweet and sensitive boy LOVES butt scratches, belly rubs, and playing tug-o-war with his toys. Rolph would do best in a home (no apartments please) with a fully fenced-in yard to run around and play in and to use for potty breaks. He’s also looking for a home with no small kids due to his size and strength (he doesn’t want to knock anyone over!). Because Rolph wants all your love and attention to himself, he’d appreciate being the only pet in the home. This big, strong hunk of love cannot wait to meet his forever family. He is currently spending time in a foster home while he waits for his forever family. If you are interested in adopting Rolph, please e-mail Katherine at kbritton@kitsap-humane.org to request an adoption application. You can meet Rolph and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.
