Pet of the Week – Yeti
March 26, 2019
Meet Yeti (83020)! He is a gorgeous 7-year-old white German Shepherd mix with a playful and adventurous personality. He is an active boy despite his age and loves all types of toys – especially squeaky toys or tug toys! Yeti will even toss his toys in the air and catch them if no one will play with him – it’s adorable! He is a super smart boy who already knows sit and shake! Yeti would love his adopters to continue his training and teach him even more tricks. If you call to him, “Yeti-Yeti” in a high-pitched voice, he will tilt his head and come right over to say hello! Although Yeti is a sweet and fun boy, he is very strong and working on his leash skills. He would benefit from having a big fenced-in yard to have potty breaks and to play in. Yeti also may not have had much prior experience living in a home environment and will need patient and dedicated adopters to go at his own pace. His ideal home (no apartments please) would not only have a fenced-in yard, but also have no cats or chickens because they are just too much fun to chase. Yeti would do best in a home with no kids under 16 as he is a little sensitive being pet on his neck area. He is a super smart and sweet boy who cannot wait to find his perfect home. You can meet Yeti and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.
