Meet Chewy (83109)! He is an adorable 1-year-old Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix with a charming personality. He is such a sweet and sensitive boy who will win you over the second he looks up at you with those puppy dog eyes. You can’t find a cuter dog than this guy – his wrinkly forehead, gorgeous red coat, big smile, and silly personality make him irresistible! Chewy loves butt scratches and will lean right on you for more pets. He would make an excellent hiking buddy and loves to go on adventures. Chewy would do best in a home (no apartments please!) with a fenced-in yard to run around and play in! He gets along with kids but may accidentally knock them over when he gets excited so he would do best with no kids under 10. Chewy also needs a home with no cats because they are just too much fun to chase! New situations can sometimes make Chewy a little nervous, so he will need a patient and dedicated adopter to go at his own pace and give him time to settle into his new home. Chewy is the biggest love and just wants to give you kisses and hugs! You can meet Chewy and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.
