Meet Ellie (58066)! Isn’t she the cutest pup you ever did see? Ellie is 5 years old and is a black and white pittie mix who loves to cuddle. She is very playful and silly. She loves just about any toy she can get her paws on and enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war (or just squeaking on her favorite squeaky toys). Ellie loves to run around the yard and do zoomies, go for quiet hikes in the woods, and is an excellent jogging companion. Ellie is a very smart cookie and knows “sit,” “come” and is housetrained and crate trained. Ellie loves to be with her people and is a perfect snuggle buddy! She can be uncomfortable being left alone, so she is looking for a home with a family who is home often, so she can get all the attention she deserves. Ellie can be nervous of strangers and it takes her time to build confidence in new places, so she will need a patient adopter who won’t expect her to be the life of the party. Ellie’s ideal home is a house (no apartments please) with a securely fenced yard and no other pets. She needs a home without young kids under 12. Ellie is currently in foster care, so meeting her is by appointment only.
