Pet of the Week – Leon
March 27, 2018
Meet Leon (ID 71556)! He is a very handsome and unique looking Pittie-Shar Pei mix with the cutest little ears and curled tail, who is about 2 years old. Leon is a bundle of fun and energy – he has never found a ball he didn’t want to chase, stick he didn’t want to carry, or scent that didn’t need sniffing! Leon loves to go for walks and would make a great hiking, jogging, or walking buddy, so that he can explore the Pacific Northwest and see all that it has to offer! Not only is he a super playful pup, he is a complete sweetheart – Leon’s kisses are just as addictive as his personality! He loves to snuggle in the evenings, especially after a busy day of fun! Leon previously spent some time in foster care, where he got to work on his house training and inside skills. Leon’s ideal family has a house (no apartments) with a securely fenced-in yard where he can run and play while staying safe and secure. He needs a home without children under 10, and with no other pets. If you’re looking for an active dog who just cannot wait to be your best friend, come in and meet Leon today! He is currently being housed out of public view, but he is at the shelter and eager to meet you! You can meet Leon and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.
