Like all of you, KHS staff has been extremely concerned about the people and pets of Texas and Louisiana who are being impacted by the hurricane and associated flooding.

Our hearts go out to all of the families impacted by this horrible natural disaster, and our compassion calls us to action! This week and in the coming weeks we will be accepting homeless dogs (like Lady, here) from our partners in Texas to help clear their shelters and make room for displaced animals who can hopefully be reunited with their families. The more adoptions we do at KHS, the more space we have to help more pets from at-risk areas!!
