Hello, my name is Shawn (Intake #53755) and I’m a stunning, tall and lanky 2-year-old Canaan/Lab mix. I traveled all the way from Israel to find a loving home here. I was in foster care for a few months to get ready to find a new home and my foster parents said I’m a wonderful, happy dog who loves to go on long walks, hikes and play in the yard. I haven’t quite figured out fetch, but I think the idea is fun! I get along with most other dogs, but with some male dogs I may need a slow introduction. I would do great with a social, adult female dog as my new buddy. While in foster care, one of my favorite things to do was sleep on the couch next to my human or canine friends. I’m housetrained and I love to play with toys. I tend to struggle at first when left alone,  so I’m looking for a dedicated, patient adopter who can help me overcome my separation anxiety. I also think chasing cars is fun, so a secure, fenced yard is just what I need to enjoy outside time safely. Do I sound like your perfect dog?
