The second KHS Pints for Pets event was a roaring success!

On March 9, over 100 animal lovers and KHS supporters came together to drink beer, eat great food and save animals at our second Pints for Pets. What an awesome event!!! Because of Slippery Pig’s generosity and your support, we raised $700 dollars–whoa!

Pints for Pets is a new event to support KHS and we are looking for more partners (we want to have Pints for Pets across the County!)! We have already had two VERY successful Pints for Pets events on December 15, 2015 at the Central Dock Restaurant in the Port Orchard Public Market and on March 9, 2016 at the Slippery Pig Brewery in Poulsbo. We had over 100 supporters attend each event. Central Dock and Slippery Pig exposed their restaurants to a new audience and had a packed house.  KHS raised money and gained new supporters as well!  A community win-win. If you own a brewery or a restaurant and you are interested in hosting a Pints for Pets Event, please contact KHS Events and Outreach Manager, Rebekah at rjohnson@kitsap-humane.org!
