Hello, my name is Velvet (Intake #52751) and I’m a silky-soft black domestic shorthair kitty with lovely light-gold eyes and a quirky personality. I’m 5 years old and came to KHS when my owner passed away. I’m an active lady who loves to play with cat toys, but I also have a shy side and I would prefer a calm and quiet home without young children. I have never been around dogs and I can be very picky about which other cats I want to be friends with. I lived with two other female cats previously and I only got along with one of them. I enjoy attention and love to be petted. I even make a cute little trilling meow sound when I’m happy. If you are looking for a sweet and fun companion, I’m the purrfect kitty for you. I’m currently hanging out in a staff member’s office so ask the front desk if you are interested in me. You can meet me and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.
