Hi! My name is Ashley (Intake #45552) and I’m a gorgeous, chubby 10-year-old tabby. I was surrendered to the shelter in May because loud noises and small children in my former home were too overwhelming for me. So now I’m just waiting for the right person to adopt me who can give me a peaceful home. I’m a really nice cat and I may be a little shy when I first meet new people, but I just melt for attention. I will blossom in a loving home. I’m currently in the shelter’s free-roam Kitty Lounge, living with other cats and doing great. I’m happy to coexist with other friendly cats. I spend hours basking in the window seat and I love getting treats and chin scratches. Do you have a quiet home, without children under the age of 12, where I can happily lay in the sun? You can meet me and other adoptable animals at the Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week.
