Thousands of homeless pets spend their evenings alone in shelters awaiting their forever homes and the day an adopter will fall in love with them. It can be as simple as falling in love with a look, a brief interaction – within minutes of meeting them, a photo or sometimes you just know when you’ve found each other.

At KHS, we know there’s a perfect pet companion for everyone. We take our homeless pets to all corners of the county and beyond if it means finding that special person who wants to open their heart and home to them.

Across the United States, our Adoption Partner, PetSmart will be hosting a Nationwide Adopt-A-Thon at various stores this weekend, September 9–11. Kitsap Humane Society pets among many other animal welfare organizations pets will be available for adoption at PetSmart in Silverdale and Puyallup. The PetSmart Adoption Weekend hosted in April 2011 found 15,581 pets homes. We’re ready to do it again, so please come out to visit, bring your friends and family and find your forever companion.
