Yesterday N.O.A.H., a progressive agency with a shelter in Stanwood, arrived to save the lives of 27 animals. N.O.A.H routinely coordinates life-saving transfers across Washington, and took second-place nationally in the last ASPCA Challenge. To top it off, they are challenging themselves to adopt out 100 animals in one day on the upcoming weekend. Thanks to our sister shelters and rescue groups, kennels are opening for further animals in need of support. These activities demonstrate that animal suffering knows no borders, and groups must work together to maximize the life saving. Every state should be so lucky to have these champions!
