This morning, 3 tiny kittens were found left by somebody in our mailbox. The mailbox has no air holes, light, or insulation. Fortunately the young innocents survived, but were extremely shaken. We appreciated at least the step to ensure the Humane Society may help these animals, but now take the chance to remind all that abusive actions also stem from simple ignorance. If anybody has information regarding the party responsible, please encourage them to consider waiting a few hours for our opening in the future. Animal abandonment is serious in this county. Meanwhile, please give us a shout if you are interested in being a rescuer for these little ones!
